Day 1

Arrival | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

At touch down at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted with a warm smile from one of our staff. He/she will help you with your luggage and escort you to our tour van. Once comfortably seated, you will head a 5-6 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy the sights of rural life and post-card perfect landscapes. You will overnight either at Engiri Game Lodge, Buffalo Safari Lodge, Elephant Plains Lodge, or their equivalents.
Day 2

Morning Game Drive | Evening Game Drive

At 6:00 you will have your breakfast, then have your morning game drive. Encounter once more with hunting pride of Lions, the African Elephant, the off-spring of the cape and Forest Bufallo, Warthogs, Waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Bushbuck, Topi and the Giant Forest Hog. After about 3-4 hours, you will return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Based on your preference and budget, you can do an Evening Game Drive through the crates lakes in most northern part of the park through to the Salt Lake known Lake Katwe. Or, you can have a night game drive where you get to a chance at observing Lions hunt and take down prey to a gigantic feast when one’s lucky.
Day 3

Chimpanzee Tracking | Boat Tour on Kazinga Channel

You will have an early breakfast at around 6am and leave for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinsu Forest Reserve on the outskirts of Queen Elizabeth National Park. A unique destination offers a number of attractions, 414 tree species, 378 bird species, 97 moths, reptiles, flowers, over 262 butterfly species, over 300 Chimpanzees 40 of which are habituated and other 8 primate species including Baboons, Blue Monkeys, The Black and white monkey, L'hoest, The red tailed Colobus Monkey among others. This scenic guided walk will leave you refreshed and enlightened at the same time. In the afternoon, you will head for a boat tour on Kazinga Channel. Here you will encounter one of the largest pools on hippos, thirsty Elephasts, the Nile Crocodile among others and over 600 bird species including Ayres' Hawk Eagle, Collared pratincole, Palm-nut Vulture, Swamp Flycatcher. Retreat to your lodge for the evening.
Day 4

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi | Rest or Canoeing/Cycling

Wake up to a lazy breakfast at around 7:30 am thereafter set off for Ishasha Sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda an average drive time of about 2 hours. On your way to your lodge, take time seek the tree-climbing lions in the acacia trees along the road. After check-in, you will have a Canoeing/boat riding, an interesting experience sailing on the calm waters of Africa’s second deepest lake!. Travel to any of the 29 islands on lake bunyonyi, each island with a different interesting story about its formation. Ensure to visit the punishment island where pregnant un married Bakiga girls would be taken and left to die in isolation. This can take whole 3 -5 hour. Later, Adventure Lake Bunyonyi on a mountain bike through local communities, farms and village towns. The ride also offers you spectacular views of Lake Bunyonyi’s Islands and the endless hills of Kigezi. You will overnight either Bunyonyi Resort Kalebas, Sharp Island Gorilla lodge, Birdnest @Bunyonyi Resort, or their equivalents.
Day 5

Community Walk | Lake Swim or Zip-lining

After your tasty breakfast, with the help of a local guide, you will take have a village. You will learn about the life skills of the local population, farming activities and how community tourism is benefitting villagers directly. This may take about 3 hours. In the afternoon, with good weather, you will go zip lining. You get to swing on top of the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa. High ropes are connected between trees on the opposite shores of the lake and travelers swing from one point to the other over the waters. Swimming Lake bunyonyi is free from dangerous water animals like crocodiles, hippos and also bilharzia free hence the safest place for swimming. Relax and refresh in the cool calm waters of Africa.
Day 6

Transfer to Lake Mburo National park | Cultural Tour

After Breakfast, you will leave for Lake Mburo National Park. The drive will take about 3 hours. You stop over at Igongo Cultural center for an Akole Cultual experience. Have lunch in the same place and then proceed to your hotel in or outside the park. You will overnight either at Eagle's Nest Camp, Mpogo Safari Lodge, Mantana Lake Mburo Tented Camp or their equivalents.
Day 7

Game Drive | Nature Walk or horseback riding

Very early in the morning, about 6:00, you will have your breakfast. Our guide will pick you from your lodge and take you on a morning Game Drive through the park. You will encounter the Brushella Zebras, and the Common Impalas found only in two park og Uganda, this inclusive. Other species to meet include Rothchild’s Giraffes, Eland, the Africa Cape Buffalo, Oribi, Defassa Waterbuck, Leopard, Hippo, Hyena, Topi, Reedbuck, and over 350 bird species among them the Bare-Faced-Go-Away Bird, Black-Billed Busard. This compact gem, 370km2 in size, seated 1,220m-1828 above sea level, the smallest of Uganda's parks, underlined by a 500 million year Precambrian metamorphic rocks, will leave an indelible mark on you. In the evening you will have take a guided walk through the park.
Day 8

Transfer to Entebbe & Departure

After a hearty breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and head for Entebbe. Depending on the time of your departure, either you will be dropped at the airport in time to catch your flight Or we will help you find a suitable hotel to rest while you wait for your departure time. Available accommodations include Sunset hotel, The Boma Entebbe, Gately Inn Entebbe.
